Ok ... yes I have been making some lace!
First, my tat design homework! I posted the motif on the right, but with some tweaking, I also like the motif on the left. Now I have to write out the pattern (and do some blocking)!
Ok, ok, so I had some help here, but it has been a wonderful team effort!
Next stop, a frame.

The book that spends lots of time at school has some items adapted from Christine Springett's Lace for Children. The half stitch heart, hairband length and flower (without the bracelet) are popular projects.

This key ring was designed as a starter project ... Ebonee made it to see if it worked for me, and this is my sample ... finally.

If you are interested in Scrapbooking ... keep watching this space :)
Cheers for now, but before you go, please don't forget to share a thought or 2 :)

The Lizbeth doily is looking great! I really like the heart and the Rosemary Shepherd edge. Now that we've celebrated my nephew's wedding, maybe I'll have time to get back to some lace making!
Love all your laces. They are all coming out so beautifully, and colourful!
Great variegated post. Your bobbin projects are fab.....waiting and watching for your scrapbooking!
WOW! You have been very busy making lace! It's all very pretty!

I am in love with the penguin :-) you have been so busy!! bucks is looking good- I do like that edging and have used it myself on occasion
The doily is amazing! I can't believe you are finding the time to tat such a large project. I have to admit, it would intimidate me. I can't believe the number of rings, especially in the 'solid' sections. You could have a contest to guess how many rings there are when you finish, although I'm not sure I would want to know!
You obviously love to make lace of all kinds.
Very nice work.
that is gorgeous. I can't wait to do something like this.
Pst Bobbie in disguise here LOL
